Student Council V-Day Fundraiser!



On Monday, February 11th, our 8th grade students will be taking the NAEP assessment. On Tuesday, the 12th, our 4th grade students will take the NAEP assessment. These students had letters delivered to students to take home. Please see the picture below for more information.


Due to weather conditions, UNPS will have an early out today, Thursday February 7. Students will be dismissed early. Transportation routes for TLC, Soar, Lifeskills, and the academy will run at 1:30pm. Transportation routes for the elementary, middle, and high school will run at 2:00pm. All after-school activities and basketball games this evening have been cancelled.

UPDATE ON Tonigh's Basketball Games- The Girls away game at Santee and the Boys home game against Brownell-Talbot have been cancelled(Thursday Feb. 7) Currently, it has not been decided whether the games will be made up at a later date.

We recently celebrated our January, Citizenship students of the month. We also highlighted thirteen perfect attendance students, and the January Choose Kind project presented by the second grade teachers and students.

Ms. Nichols' 5th grade class wrote a compilation of kindness stories and had it published last semester. The final book was received this week. We are so proud of our published authors!





Reminder: There is an early dismissal on Wednesday, February 6th for staff professional development. Students will be dismissed at 2:15pm.

Congratulations to our Middle School on winning the READBowl State Championship!
This year's READBowl national reading competition featured 90,000 students across the country from every state. The Nebraska State Champion is the Umonhon Nation Middle School. We are extremely proud for all the time and energy they spent reading over the past four weeks. Congratulations Ms. Kneifl and the entire middle school.
