Mr. Wanning had two visitors stop to see him in his office today. These two first grade students went above and beyond in math, and showed their teacher that they can tell time to the quarter-hour. We are so proud of their work ethic! #UNPSelementary

For our recent Valentine's Day activities in 5th grade, Ms. Nichols' class launched hearts from a catapult and measured the distance in centimeters, inches, feet, and yards.

Our 5th grade students recently created science labs about density and the states of matter. In these lava lamps the students made predictions about what they thought would happen, then recorded what actually happened. This hands on learning approach was enjoyed by all.

On Monday a group of 22 staff members were certified in CPR, First Aid and AED use. The certifications will give the school a staff member in each area to assist in case of an emergency. The school is dedicated to continuous improvement in the area of safety and security.
