We had a wonderful time at our Holiday Concert. Thank you to all the parents and community members that came to celebrate the student performances. We also want to thank Mrs.Schneider, Ms. Stabler and the culture department for helping to prepare the students for the performance.

The White Eagle Club would like to thank everyone who participated in last nights 50/50 during the game against Santee. The winner was Mrs. Cora Miller. Mrs Miller donated the money back to the White Eagle Club to help Omaha Nation students continue to learn about their culture. All proceeds are going to help fund this years 3rd annual White Eagle Club Powwow.

Omaha Nation boys put on a basketball clinic as they defeated Santee 84 - 47.

Tomorrow, the elementary music department is hosting the holiday concert at 2pm in the old gym. K-5th grade will sing, and our culture department will also contribute music. Please enter through the doors used for celebrations and ceremonies in the old gym. Refreshments provided.

Omaha Nations hand game team is hard at work practicing and getting ready to defeat their competition at LNI.


Tuesday December 3rd, the UNPS Unified Bowling Team participated at the District 5 meet held in Norfolk, at the King Lanes. Seniors Deighton Brown, Kyleigh Merrick, Lathaniel Armstrong, Doran Morris and Deondra Blackbird qualified for the UNPS District 5 team. There were eight teams participating; Norfolk (938), Wayne (730), West Point-Beemer (725), Osmond (701), South Sioux City (619), Omaha Nation (597), Ponca (544), Bloomfield (339). The Norfolk Panthers took the Champion position with Wayne following as runner-up. The state tournament will take place Monday, December 9th, at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln and it will be broadcast on NCN.


Congratulations to the Omaha Nation boys basketball team for defeating West Point GACC tonight. Omaha Nation girls and boys will be back in action with another away game on Thursday against BRLD.

Tonight the Girls and Boys basketball teams will kick-off their season with an away game at Westpoint GACC. Tip off for the girls is at 5:00 with boys to follow after. The first home game will be Friday, December 6th against Santee. GO CHIEFS!!!

Congratulations to the middle School Culture Keeper for the month of December Michelle Barcelona. She is role model for the students and a great asset to the staff.


Due to weather, school is cancelled tomorrow for UNPS and the Omaha Tribe Head Start. Have a happy Thanksgiving.
