For the first time ever, Omaha Nation Chiefs have been invited to play in the CNOS Foundation Basketball Classic. Omaha Nation will play at 12:15 in the Tyson Event Center.

We had our last culture keeper nomination before break. Mrs. Collins (3rd Grade), was nominated by Ms. Frazier, and Mrs. Pippitt (1st Grade), was nominated by Mrs. Grinbergs. Both teachers show a commitment to educating the whole child and their learning at UNPS. Congratulations!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday season before our break. The elementary students played reindeer games and Santa stopped by for a visit. Happy Holidays to you and your families!

Omaha Nation Students Had A Great Time At LNI.

Omaha Nation knowledge Bowl team just won its 2nd match today at 830 this morning 8 - 16. this is the farthest our team has advanced in the LNI knowledge Bowl, we are down to 4 teams left as we face a strong opponent in White River next round at 11:30.

Congratulations to the Omaha Nation Quiz Bowl Team for winning their match today. We are proud of you and the amount of work you put in to bettering yourself in school every day.


Ms. Nichols' classroom experienced a true arts integration lesson. They learned about the different bodies of water, their characteristics, and then learned about using watercolors. The students created a painting that included 3 different bodies of water. They had a lot of fun!
