Due to weather, UNPS will have an early dismissal at 10am today, Tuesday November 26th. Routes will run at 10am, special program routes will run at 9:30am, and staff will be dismissed following the routes. Headstart will have no students today, staff only.
The elementary team has nominated Grace Peterson and Brenda Murphy as our latest Culture Keepers.Both have have a love for learning that is to be admired, and a passion for their craft. They are an essential part of our work in providing a well-rounded education for our students.
Saturday, November 23rd, the Unified Bowling team participated in the Norfolk Invitational at the King Lanes. Team A: Nevaeh Jackson, Doran Morris, Kyleigh Merrick, and Jahwon Woodhull reached a team score of 526. Team B: Jonathon Alexander, James Blackbird, Lathaniel Armstron, and Keiyan Parker scored in the upper level winnings with a total score of 576. Both teams received ribbon placings sponsored by Norfolk Public Schools.
Mr. Peck's One Act class was able to work with Fremont Bergan students to better their acting skills.
Omaha Nation will be playing in the SSC Cardinal Unified Bowling Triangular on November 25th at 11:00 am
Today, Mrs. Meyer's culinary class learned how to make homemade apple pie.

Today was a great way to start the week! Our Kindergartners made cards and delivered balloons to some of their classmates they have missed at school lately. Our students and teachers had so much fun making those connections. We were able to bring seven students back to school!
Girls high school basketball practice will start at 4pm today. Parent meeting will be Wednesday @ 5pm at the school in the band room.
Mrs. Meyer's Hospitality and Tourism class was able to tour multiple businesses and the Western Iowa Tech culinary school program to better prepare for a job in hospitality. To end their field trip they had a class dinner at Famous Dave's and then went to a Musketeers hockey game.
