Did you know.... Poor attendance can influence a child's ability to read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade? This is an important benchmark that can determine whether the student continues on to 4th grade or is held back.

Tuesday, we set a record in the Band room: Twenty 5th grade beginner Band students at the same time! We've never had that many beginners in the room at one time. Altogether yesterday, with the two fifth grade classes, we had 38 Beginners! If they all hang in we'll have the biggest Elementary Band ever! - Mr. Mangan
