The Omaha Nation Chiefs will play in the next CNOS Basketball Classic in January of 2020 at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, IA! The Chiefs were cordially invited yesterday with the help of Coach Nelson's wife Jessica Rae and the invitation was accepted. A special thanks goes out to Jessica Rae and Coach Nelson for making this opportunity happen for our student-athletes. The opponent has not yet been determined at this time. Chief Chief Hoop!


Mrs. Shoenfelder and Mr. Ariza took some Omaha Nation juniors and seniors to visit Northeast Community College in Norfolk.


8th Grade Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for May 13th starting at 11:30 with a parent luncheon followed at 12:00 by the portfolio presentations and concluding with the promotion ceremony. It will be held in the new gym.

Our Omaha Nation quiz bowl team is ready to compete.


Kindergarten Registration is Monday, March 25. Children, 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2019 are eligible for Kindergarten. A Parents Meeting will be at 1:00pm, with food and door prizes. Please bring birth certificates, shot records, emergency contacts, and s.s. cards.


There is no school, for Kindergarten only, on March 25, due to Kindergarten Registration.

Ms. Compton's class recently learned about force, motion, push and pull by building ramps and having balloon races. The students enjoyed learning by doing!





Due to flooding roads there will be no school tomorrow at UNPS. please drive carefully.

Due to the potential flooding and worsening road conditions, UNPS will be dismissing early today, Wednesday March 13. Dismissal will begin with the TLC and SOAR programs at 11:00am, followed by Lifeskills at 11:30am. All K-12 students will be dismissed at noon today.
