
The Omaha Nation high school one-act crew was able to participate in a workshop in Fremont today. Thank you to Mr. Peck and Ms. Ehrlich for taking them.



Mrs. Lovejoy's 4th grade class wanted to say thank you to all of our Veterans that have served our country. Today we honored them in the classroom, in Flag Song, and the playing of the Military Taps.


Nebraska Loves Public Schools is dedicated to supporting public education one documentary film at a time. I Love Public Schools has made over 100 films that share the stories of schools, students, and educators doing amazing things across the state. Due to all of the countless wonderful things going on at Omaha Nation Public School, I Love Public Schools has decided to make a film about our school. They will be using a few of our students to help video and edit the film as they go about this journey sharing our story.

"Don't Meth Our Rez" 5K Walk-Run
The JAG Student leadership organized this event to unify our community against drug and alcohol abuse. The program included the following speakers: Jon Pickinpaugh, Ricardo Ariza, Liz Lovejoy, Gwen Porter, Sam Grant and Janissa Whitewater. The message was strong guiding us toward healing through forgiveness, compassion and love for one another. It was a good day!

The Umoⁿhoⁿ Nation Unified Bowling Team participated Saturday, November 9th in the Unified Bowling: Varsity Invite against Norfolk at 10:00 am at Kings Lanes in Norfolk, NE. Ranking in the top of the scoring teams was : Deighten Brown, David Romo and Jahwon Woodhull with a total score of 524

Recently, our 4th grade students have been learning about Susan LaFlesche Picotte. The students conducted research, wrote reports, visited Walthill, and presented to an audience. Great job 4th grade! They learned so much about an important figure in their history!

Congratulations to our Elementary Culture Keepers. Mrs. Sateren was nominated by Ms. Long. Ms. Long stated that Mrs. Sateren has been a positive force in her work in daycare. Mrs. Webster stated that Miss Boneschans has held high expectations in her classroom. Congratulations!


There will be a parents meeting for the boys basketball team on Wednesday, November 13th in the high school band room at 5:00 p.m.

Our unified bowling team has grown tremendously this year. Yesterday was their first game and they beat Bloomfield. The over all team champion consisted of Deondra, Lathaniel, and James. Our bowling team is coached by Shannon Gibson, Sally Kneifl, and assisted by Sandra Pearson



Our high school life skills students were able to go to a pep rally and the home opener game for the Lady Huskers. They even received there own personalized ticket.



Tomorrow is our first annual "Don't Meth With Our Rez" 5k walk/run. This will be hosted and ran by our high school students who are in the Jobs For America's Graduates (J.A.G.) program. We look forward to seeing you at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow on the North side of the school by door 11.

Congratulations to the Middle School November Culture Keeper, Mike Sjuts!!


We would like to congratulate Mrs. Sandra Pearson for being the recipient of the culture keeper award for the month of November. The culture keeper award is based off of three criteria. 1. High Expectations 2. Positive Attitude 3. Solution Focused. Thank you again Mrs. Pearson for always doing a wonderful job with our high school students.
