Recently, our White Eagle Club served the community of Santee. They estimated about 200 Santee community members came to eat soup/fry bread, fruits, cake, drinks. It was a success and everybody was thankful. Thank you for Choosing Kind and giving back to others.





Congratulations to Lexis Bertucci, a fourth grader at UNPS. She recently won a drawing contest for 811 (Check before you dig). She will be celebrated at the capitol building, and our school will be awarded a tree, bench, and commemorative plaque. Congratulations, Lexis!


Thank you to all of the parents that came to our Kindergarten Registration Day. If you have a child that will turn 5 years of age on, or before July 31, they will be eligible to enter Kindergarten. Please stop by at any time to register your child.



Reminder to ALL Juniors: Please be at school by 8:05am on Tuesday, April 2nd. The Juniors will begin the ACT test at 8:30am. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Students that are on time, and complete the ACT test will be will attend the celebration in the near future.

The Omaha Nation Chiefs will play in the next CNOS Basketball Classic in January of 2020 at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, IA! The Chiefs were cordially invited yesterday with the help of Coach Nelson's wife Jessica Rae and the invitation was accepted. A special thanks goes out to Jessica Rae and Coach Nelson for making this opportunity happen for our student-athletes. The opponent has not yet been determined at this time. Chief Chief Hoop!


Mrs. Shoenfelder and Mr. Ariza took some Omaha Nation juniors and seniors to visit Northeast Community College in Norfolk.


8th Grade Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for May 13th starting at 11:30 with a parent luncheon followed at 12:00 by the portfolio presentations and concluding with the promotion ceremony. It will be held in the new gym.

Our Omaha Nation quiz bowl team is ready to compete.


Kindergarten Registration is Monday, March 25. Children, 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2019 are eligible for Kindergarten. A Parents Meeting will be at 1:00pm, with food and door prizes. Please bring birth certificates, shot records, emergency contacts, and s.s. cards.


There is no school, for Kindergarten only, on March 25, due to Kindergarten Registration.

Good luck to Mr. Wojcik and the quiz bowl team at the Northeast Community College quiz bowl tomorrow.

Monday March 18th will be a regular day of school if you are affected by flooding please plan ahead and leave early to accommodate transportation times. Routes can be checked online at Nebraska 511 please check before leaving tomorrow to make sure your route is clear.
