
On April 30, families from all 50 states and the District of Columbia were on Capitol Hill for Strolling Thunder to ask Congress to Think Babies! Taria Wolfe, along with Willow and Cethan, were at the event. Venetia Wolfe accompanied them. Thank you again, to the Wolfe family!

Our elementary teachers dove into data to set goals for the 2019-2020 school year. Thank you to the elementary staff for their dedication to improve student learning. We look forward to seeing even more growth next school year.


Thank you to the White Eagle Club for honoring, current, past and future graduates of UNPS. The gourd dance was well attended and students had the opportunity to showcase their handmade ribbon skirts. It was a great year at UNPS, and this was a great way to celebrate education!

The educational report “Exercise Kids' Minds During Summer” offers families fun, brain-friendly activities to keep your children engaged over the summer. Have fun with your children enjoying some of these activities.


Reminder from the Nurse and Athletics Dept: ALL STUDENTS ENTERING THE 7TH GRADE and STUDENTS PLAYING SPORTS in 2019-2020 are required to have a health physical. Be sure to get physical done over the summer! Thank you!

Congratulations to our 5th grade students that celebrated promotion on Friday. We want to send a special thanks to SueAnn and the kitchen staff for their kindness in preparing a hearty breakfast for our students on the morning of promotion. Good luck in Middle School next year!



Thank you to 811 of Nebraska for visiting our school and donating a tree and bench to our Outdoor Classroom. We recently honored Lexis Bertucci, the contest winner for depiction of digging safety. It was a great day to celebrate Lexis and safety.


Thank you to Tim Grant of the EPA and Omaha Tribe of Nebraska for working with a fourth grade classroom. The Omaha Tribe sponsored a poster contest, and below are the three winners from the contest. Their posters will be featured in calendars and other advertisements.


Yesterday we celebrated our final citizenship assembly for the 2018-2019 school year. We are so proud of our students and how much they have grown in all facets of the school day. Have a great summer and we look forward to seeing everyone back in the fall.



At UNPS elementary, 92 of our students had 90% or higher attendance in the 4th quarter. Yesterday we celebrated 13 students that had perfect attendance. We love having our students, every day. Thank you to the parents/guardians that helped get our students here every day!
