Students in Mr. Wojciks class were treated to a pizza party because they scored the highest out of all the other classes on their mid-term educational vocabulary assessment.


Quentin Dick Jr. is busy making a set of straight dance bells after school . Our White Eagle Club does an amazing job of incorporating the Omaha culture in everyday life. Attention All Parents with Students 8-12 Grade:
UNPS has graciously been invited to attend the scheduled “Community Healing” Forum/Prayer Service that is sponsored by Omaha Tribal TANF. Students and staff in grades 8-12 are asked to join community leaders featuring guest speakers and a noon meal. Students will be escorted to the Alfred Gilpin Building at 10:00am and return to school following the meal. If you would prefer that your student NOT attend please call the front office of UNPS 402-837-5622 to confirm that you do NOT want your student to attend. There will UNPS staff remaining in the building to serve those students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.


Carl T. Curtis will be sponsoring a student pep bus for tonight and tomorrow nights games in Pender. The first 40 students who show up at the prevention center will be served pizza. Carl T. is also covering admission to get into the game. The bus leaves at 6:00pm from the prevention center.

Students attending our Vocational Program in SSC will meet at the Academy at 8 a.m. Friday morning and will be there until the end of the school day. Please report directly to the Academy (the white trailer one block south of the main building). Thank you!

Counseling services and a community meal will be held at Omaha Nation School from 5:30pm to 6:30pm tonight.

Middle School students are using concepts of geometry to calculate area and volume for containers that they have designed themselves. Way to go Mr. Fehringer teaching concepts that the students will need in high school!




Students in small engines class reassembled the crankshaft to the piston and connecting rod, in the crankcase.


For the remainder of the week, the students attending our Vocational Program in SSC will be served here in the district. Linda will meet them in the morning on Thursday and Friday and work in the MS computer lab. Following lunch, they will then transition to working out at the academy with her.

Counseling services will be available to any community member from 2:30pm to 6:00pm in the old gym at UNPS. A community meal will be provided at 4:00pm.

Due to poor road conditions the trip to the Lied Center in Lincoln has been cancelled for today.
