
Congratulations Mr Michael Fehringer He's the winner of the middle School Culture Keeper award for March. He will receive a week's worth of meals, a jeans pass and a special parking spot close to the school!


The community is invited to the school from 4:30pm - 8:00pm tonight in the old gym. A meal will be served and counseling services will be offered. This event is provided by the Carl T. Curtis health center.

After attending the Community Healing ceremony the 8th graders were inspired to make the school a healthy place.


Middle school students are enjoying the hands-on learning approach. This year the students are more attentive in class by taking part in teaching. The teachers are doing a great job designing lessons to keep the students attention and make learning fun.

Students in Mr. Wojciks class were treated to a pizza party because they scored the highest out of all the other classes on their mid-term educational vocabulary assessment.

Attention All Parents with Students 8-12 Grade:
UNPS has graciously been invited to attend the scheduled “Community Healing” Forum/Prayer Service that is sponsored by Omaha Tribal TANF. Students and staff in grades 8-12 are asked to join community leaders featuring guest speakers and a noon meal. Students will be escorted to the Alfred Gilpin Building at 10:00am and return to school following the meal. If you would prefer that your student NOT attend please call the front office of UNPS 402-837-5622 to confirm that you do NOT want your student to attend. There will UNPS staff remaining in the building to serve those students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.


Carl T. Curtis will be sponsoring a student pep bus for tonight and tomorrow nights games in Pender. The first 40 students who show up at the prevention center will be served pizza. Carl T. is also covering admission to get into the game. The bus leaves at 6:00pm from the prevention center.
