The first practice for varsity football will be on Monday, August 9th at 2:00pm anyone interested in going out please meet at the football field at that time. The first varsity volleyball practice will be on August 12th at 4:00 in the new gym. Physicals will be required this year for ALL students participating in sports. Students will not be allowed to practice until they have had a sports physical. Kindergarten, 7th graders and anyone transferring from another state will also need a physical.
Our JAG students who have been working in the Omaha Nation 7 acre garden and greenhouse got to go to the Norfolk water park to cool off on this hot day.

A big thanks to those that helped set up the basketball clinic last weekend: Tommy Johnson, Meechie Johnson, Shailece Porter, Makaila, COG basketball and the Society of Care. All the students enjoyed the clinic and learned basketball skills they can use next season.
For those that pre-registered for the summer basketball clinic it will start today for grades K-4 at 3:00, 5-7 at 4:00 and 8-12 at 5:00. Please enter through the west door #11.

The weight room will be open Monday-Thursday from 1-2pm. All athletes are invited to attend. Coaches will be there to assist with weight training.
Summer Feeding is from June 7 - July 23. Lunch is served from 11:30 - 12:30 Monday - Thursday. Lunch on Fridays is a Grab and Go. It will be picked up curbside at the front (south) entrance from 11:30 - 12:30.

The funeral ceremony for Mr. John Mangan begins at noon today. The ceremony will have a live-stream to the UNPS Facebook page. Due to the newly re-finished floors, please do not bring outside chairs. The district will provide seating.
In honor of Mr. John Mangan and the funeral ceremony, there will be no summer school classes Wednesday, June 2nd. Classes resume as normal on Thursday, June 3rd.
Starting today students will be able to come into the gym and get a little extra work on their game and do some conditioning. Students will only be allowed at their specified time: 10:00-11:00 - Middle School Boys, 11:00-12:00 - Middle School Girls, 1:00-1:30 - Grades 4-6 Boys, 1:30-2:00 - Grades 4-6 Girls, 2:00-3:00 - Open Gym HS Girls, 3:00-4:00 - Open Gym HS Boys.
