Today the Middle School volleyball team will take on Winnebago at home at 2:30. At 5:00 the Varsity volleyball team will play Santee at home. Tonight will be a RED OUT! Wear your red to the game. The cross country team will travel to Laurel for a meet at 4:00.
The Middle School Football Team will be at home today against Winnebago at 4:00. There will be no JV Football. The Lady Chief Volleyball Team will travel to Omaha Christian with a start time of 6:00 for JV and 7:00 for varsity.
Today is an early out for students at 1pm for Labor Day Weekend. No school Monday - School resumes 8am, Tuesday September 5th

CONGRATULATIONS Lady Chiefs and coach Berkenpas on a 2nd place finish in the Boys Town Tournament.
The Lady Chiefs will start their volleyball season tomorrow at Boys Town. At 9:00am they will play Boys Town, 10:15 they will play Weeping Water and at 11:30 they will play Walthill. Admission will be $6.00. The games will be livestreamed on https://www.youtube.com/boystownUSA
Temperatures are expected to return to normal today. We will not be transporting students that are not on regular routes. Parents will need to make other plans for transportation.
Due to the excessive heat, we will be taking any students home that need a ride. Parents please be patient as the additional students will slow down route times.

Tomorrow's volleyball practice will be from 4:00-6:00. Both volleyball and football will practice from 4:00-6:00 next week. Remember students must have a physical before starting practice.

All students out for sports are required to have a physical. Please schedule that now if you have not done so, the season is rapidly approaching. Varsity volleyball practice will begin Wednesday August 9th at 10:00am. Varsity football practice will begin Monday August 14th at 4:00pm. Students will not be allowed to practice without a physical.
