Weather cancellations and postponements for track: Tomorrows middle school track meet at Lyons has been moved to April 23rd at 11:00. The middle school track meet scheduled for April 29th has been cancelled.

Greetings! UNPS recognizes that students are curious and excited about the Solar Eclipse that is happening later today. However, in keeping with Omaha tradition this is an environmental phenomenon that should be treated with respect and reverence and not directly observed. For this reason, we are asking teachers to keep all students indoors. Live streaming of the eclipse will be made available to teachers to use for educational purposes and the Omaha beliefs regarding this event will be shared via the UNPS Umoⁿhoⁿ Language and Culture Center. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this event please feel free to reach out to your child’s administrator.
Happy Friday! UNPS is excited to announce that the Autism Awareness shirts are in and ready for purchase in the Chief Store! Shirts are $12 each and range from kids sizes to adult 4XL. Thank you to everyone who voted for the t-shirt design, and another big congratulations to our winner, Clyde Walker! Clyde received his free t-shirt first for being the winning design.

The Quiz Bowl Team represented the school well today at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk. Dallyce Lyons and Margaret Blackbird each earned a Certificate of Merit .

The JH track meet for next Monday (3/25) has been cancelled by Wisner due to incoming inclement weather. No make up date has been scheduled.
