Tonight's basketball game will be at home vs. Parkview Christian. JV boys will start at 4:00 with girls and boys varsity to follow. Each player was given two tickets to give to household members. Drinks and candy only will be available at concessions. All games will be in the new gym and varsity will be shown on striv.tv. Masks covering mouth and nose and social distancing will be required for all fans.

Umonhon Nation would like to welcome everyone back from their winter break. Just a reminder that school is in session and the second quarter ends on Wednesday, January 6th. Report cards will be mailed out on Friday, January 8th.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays from Mrs. Lovejoy's 5th grade class.

Tonight's basketball game will be at Oakland. JV starts at 4:30: girls will be in the old gym (2 quarter game); boys will be in the new gym (4 quarter game).
Varsity girls begin at 6pm, varsity boys will follow in the main gym.
They will allow immediate family in the household, plus grandparents, into the game. The players created a list of family that may attend.
Drinks and candy only will be available at concessions.

Students were fitted with Tom's shoes along with their Christmas Gifts. The Tom's shoes are made available through the Partnership With Native Americans program out of Rapid City, S.D.




Students in Mr. Hudnall's class learned about how other countries celebrate the holidays and then gave a report about it to their peers.

Students in art had fun learning about patterns and applying that to a painting of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer 🦌.

Today at Tama they will make an announcement in between the games to clear the gym. Fans will be allowed to stay if they have a participant that plays in the later games. If not fans must clear the gym.
Tomorrow 12/18/2020 the basketball game will be at Meskwaki Settlement School in Tama, Iowa. They are limiting to 2 spectators per player. Masks are required at all times by coaches, players, and spectators. The exception for not wearing masks will be the 5 players that are in the game on the court. Concessions will be limited to drinks and candy. Girls JV will start at 4:00 with boys JV and the two varsity contests to follow.
High school students are busy baking holiday treats in Mrs. Meyer's culinary class.
Mr. Redden is teaching students about archery in one of our many after school programs.
High school students in our SEL class are using teamwork and problem solving skills to complete different challenges to get out of their escape room classroom.

Students in high school science are creating invisible ink to write secret messages. To do this, they created a solution of lemon juice and water. When you use this solution to write on paper and add heat it creates a process called oxidation.
