The football game Friday will be at Cheyenne Eagle Butte at 2:00 CST. The following are the spectator rules for attending the game. The Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Schools believes limiting spectator attendance provides our students the best opportunity to complete their seasons and reduce the likelihood of community transmission. Masks are mandatory for ALL spectators’ at ALL INDOOR/OUTDOOR events on Cheyenne-Eagle Butte property. Spectators are asked to socially distance themselves away from those not in their immediate families to the best of their ability. Please sit in family units when possible. Reentry at an event that requires vouchers will ONLY be allowed by obtaining a special reentry ticket from the ticket seller(s). Please note: ONLY those individuals who possess an event & date specific voucher will be allowed in. Cost of admission will be listed on admission vouchers. $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for school age children. All football players will be given three tickets today that must be presented with the entry fee to enter the game.

Out of Respect, the White Eagle Club has postponed the Handgame Gourddance and Wardance to Sunday May 2nd 2021. Mourners meal will be served at 12 pm noon. A reminder: no personal chairs will be allowed, the school district will provide chairs. Temperature checks will be taken upon entering the building, masks need to be worn. Public Notice UNPS is happy to announce that we now have a full-time Mental Health Therapist on staff. Ms. Terri Sturges has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and is currently in the process of obtaining her Mental Health Practitioner Degree. Terri has worked for the past 2 years in a private therapy setting, facilitating individual, couples, and group therapy. Prior to that she worked for the Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence for 17 years, helping those affected by trauma due to being in unsafe situations. Students identified in need of intervention can be referred to therapy through the Student Assistance Team by either parents/guardians or UNPS staff. Parent permission must be obtained prior to the start of service. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Mr. Wanning or Mr. Pickinpaugh at 402-837-5622.

The Athletic Awards Ceremony will take place this Wednesday during community night. It will start at 6:00 in the New Gym. All athletic awards will be given out with the exception of track and football which will be given at the conclusion of the seasons. Everyone is welcome please social distance in household groups and masks will be required.

Spring sports start TODAY!! Tack at Homer at 1:00 and Football at home vs. Tiospa Zina at 5:00. The NSAA is requiring the following ofschools, officials and spectators for allspring season contests: • Active participants are permitted, but not required, to wear face coverings during competition/performance. • Spectators are required to wear face coverings for entrance to all activities. Face coverings may be removed if outside and 6 feet of physical distance can be maintained. • Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth.

Student's in our J.A.G. program were able to get outside last week and start preparing the outdoor garden. The traditional method of planting blue corn, beans and squash will be taught as a lesson plan. This combination of plants is referred to as three sisters as they support one another's growth.
