The funeral ceremony for Mr. John Mangan begins at noon today. The ceremony will have a live-stream to the UNPS Facebook page. Due to the newly re-finished floors, please do not bring outside chairs. The district will provide seating.
In honor of Mr. John Mangan and the funeral ceremony, there will be no summer school classes Wednesday, June 2nd. Classes resume as normal on Thursday, June 3rd.
Starting today students will be able to come into the gym and get a little extra work on their game and do some conditioning. Students will only be allowed at their specified time: 10:00-11:00 - Middle School Boys, 11:00-12:00 - Middle School Girls, 1:00-1:30 - Grades 4-6 Boys, 1:30-2:00 - Grades 4-6 Girls, 2:00-3:00 - Open Gym HS Girls, 3:00-4:00 - Open Gym HS Boys.

GAME DAY!!! The Chiefs will travel to Mitchell, SD to play Tiospa Zina at Joe Quintal Field. The game will start at 4:00, admission is $10 limited to the first 1500 fans. Fans will be allowed to sit on both sides of the field. A sidewalk outside the east end of the track will get visiting fans to the visiting bleachers on the south side of the field. HISTORY MADE! For the first time ever The Chiefs will be in the football playoffs. We will play Tiospa Zina next Friday (5-21) at Joe Quintal Field in Mitchell, SD. The game will start at 4:00. Entry fee into the game is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Masks and social distancing will be required and seating limited to the first 1500 fans.

District Track will be held on Thursday May 13th in Ponca. Events will start at 11:00. Good luck to all of our track athletes.
NSAA UPDATE - A physical will be required for ALL 9-12 students that wish to participate in NSAA athletic contests in the 2021-2022 school year. You can schedule them now and get them done before school starts. Any physical dated after May 1st will count for next year.
