
Today the middle school boys and girls will play Santee at home. We will start the girls at 2:30 in the new gym. The boys game will follow in the new gym as well.

GAMEDAY!!!!! Middle School vs. Walthill at 2:30. We will have both Middle School at the same time, girls in the new gym and boys in the old gym. Varsity will play Bancroft with JV girls starting at 4:00 (2 quarters) and 4 quarters of boys following. Varsity girls will start at 6:30 and boys following.

The bowling team rolled a 559 series to take 4th place in Sioux City yesterday. There were 13 teams in the tournament. Congrats bowlers and coaches you are on a roll!

Today's middle school boys basketball game will be played in Rosalie at 4:00.

Tuesday November 22nd there will be a basketball parents meeting. It will be held in the old gym at 5:00.

Please join us to celebrate Native American Heritage Month with the artistic dancer and rapper Supaman. Supaman is sponsored by the Society of Care Healthy Transitions and Morningstar Counseling and will be performing at 6:45 pm on Tuesday 11-22 in the New Gym at UNPS. Society of Care is also sponsoring a community meal in the cafeteria from 5:30-6:30.


Today, Mr. Pickinpaugh was
sworn-in to serve as the Secondary School Principal on the National Assessment Governing Board in Washington DC. The board consists of governors, senators, CEOs, and educators from different levels. There are only 26 people chosen in the US to serve on the board. The National Assessment Governing Board is charged by Congress to inform the public about what America's students know and can do in various subject areas. This information helps our nation understand where more work is needed to improve students' education.


Due to low numbers at Whiting the boys game tonight is cancelled. The girls middle school will still play at home at 4:00.

Gametime! The first middle school basketball game of the season is TODAY at home against Whiting. Girls will start at 4:00 with the boys game to follow. Due to lack of numbers in Whiting the boys will play 7th grade only.

On Thursday, November 1 7 our 10th grade students will take the Pre-ACT assessment. This assessment will provide the students with information regarding their progress towards proficiency on the ACT test that they will take as an 11th grade student. The test on Thursday will begin at 9:30am, so please make sure your student is on time for school that day.

Transportation may be a little delayed this morning due to weather conditions. Please be patient the drivers are taking it easy to keep everyone safe.

High School basketball practice will begin after school on Monday. Middle School practice has already begun with the first game next Tuesday at home vs. Whiting at 4:00. Please make sure you bring basketball shoes, shorts and everything you might need for practice with you in the morning.
