Starting on June 3rd, the coaches will be ready in the weight room from 10-2 Monday-Friday. All students in grades 7-12 are welcome to come in and work out. After you work out, the gym will be open.

It was a great turnout last night at the Awards Banquet. Congratulations to all of the students that earned awards and especially the three students that became the first ever from the school to be awarded Academic All-State: Darrell Blackbird III, Aundres McCauley, and Desma Walker!!!!!!!!! A big thanks to all that helped make last night so special.
District Track will be held today in Hartington. Field events will start at 11:00am with track events to follow.

Due to the predicted thunderstorms tomorrow Homer has cancelled the Middle School track meet.
Weather cancellations and postponements for track: Tomorrows middle school track meet at Lyons has been moved to April 23rd at 11:00. The middle school track meet scheduled for April 29th has been cancelled.

Greetings! UNPS recognizes that students are curious and excited about the Solar Eclipse that is happening later today. However, in keeping with Omaha tradition this is an environmental phenomenon that should be treated with respect and reverence and not directly observed. For this reason, we are asking teachers to keep all students indoors. Live streaming of the eclipse will be made available to teachers to use for educational purposes and the Omaha beliefs regarding this event will be shared via the UNPS Umoⁿhoⁿ Language and Culture Center. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this event please feel free to reach out to your child’s administrator.
