Biography

"Hello!  I am Mrs. Nelson and I will be teaching the courses for the Entrepreneurial pathway.  I graduated from Flandreau High School and the University of South Dakota in Management.  While working at Citibank, I went back to school, graduated from Dakota State University with my Business in Education Degree and USD with a Masters in Business Administration.  I have worked in several businesses including a manufacturing business my husband co-owned before entering the teaching profession.  I taught at other public schools before coming to Umoⁿhoⁿ Nation Public Schools. I have been teaching dual credit courses for high school students as well as college credit courses most recently for NICC.

I enjoy working with students, helping them acquire skills that will assist them in becoming successful in their personal and professional lives as they venture out on their own in the near future."
